What I've Been Up To

Have my fans been wondering what I've been up to lately?  I've started drinking from a sippy cup, had my first sucker (then some), went from my baby bath seat to a big boy seat (because I'd scoot to the edge of my baby seat), visited the Smoky Mountains (first train ride, carousel ride), had my first Halloween (complete with face painting!), went to a "Tacky Party" at the church, and ate some good food. I love chewing on my thumb. It feels great to my gums.

My Jumperoo is so fun! This was my first time in it.  I am still a little short for it (even on the shortest setting) so the parents have to fold up throws and put under my feet.

I have started chewing on everything...even my rubber duckies.

Papaw came to visit.

We went to the Ag Museum in Jackson for our last getaway before Mommy went back to work.  We got rained out.  :-(

Daddy, Alena, Maddie, (my cousins) and I sat in this huge chair.

Alena, Maddie and Kaitlin (another cousin) got to play cool games like this dodge ball game at the MS Sports Museum while all I got to do is watch. 

After a fun day we all went to the movies to see Transformers 2.  I slept most of the movie.

But before the movie we went to Bass Pro Shop. My first trip there.

Even earlier in the day we went to Cock of the Walk to eat.  We got to feed the ducks bread! This is me with Daddy and Katilin.

Mommy bought me these silly sun hats.  They grow with me so you'll be seeing more of them next year.

Mommy and I made Daddy a card for his first Father's day.

Daddy posed me like this a couple months ago but I really do like the remote now!

Early one my cousin Anna tried to trade me for her cat.  Glad Mommy didn't take that deal.

One day after work Grandma and Grandpa stopped by for a visit.

I went with Mommy and Daddy to take Nanny to the eye doctor in Memphis.  This is what Daddy and I did for a while.

5 months old

I'm 5 months old today!  I'm rolling around like crazy, talking up a storm, and loving food!!!

And I'm cute as a button.

4 Month Gone By

I'm four months old now.  How cool is that?  So hard to believe that I have been with Mommy and Daddy so long.  We have been having lots of fun.  I am spoiled rotten and love every minute of it.  Daddy stays home with me most days but when Daddy works Mommy gets to stay home with me.  She has to work though.  I sure wish she could give me her undivided attention and do my best to get it.  I really love time with Daddy and love the games we play.  Patty cake is hilarious to me.  I also think it is really funny when he squishes my cheeks together with my hands.  That fella is a funny guy!


Every Sunday and Wednesday we go to church.  I love church time.  I get so sleepy but fight my sleep so I can enjoy all of the attention I get.  The ladies love me.  I am such a cutie they just can't keep their hands to themselves.  I eat it up!  I've been up to a lot in my first four months.  Maybe I can post pictures soon.

Life so far

Man, life is great so far.  I made my way here as quickly as they would let me.  I was so excited to finally meet everyone.  I've had many visitors since my arrival and can't wait to meet everyone else.  I love all of the attention I get and try to be a good baby for Momma and Daddy.  Here are some pictures to show what I have been up to.

I get lots of good sleep.  Don't you wish you could nap all of the time like me?

I spend time with Daddy.  He likes to snuggle and sleep with me when Momma gets up in the mornings.

I get to play with the bright toys that dangle from my mat.  Momma tried to give me some tummy time on the mat, but I was not impressed.

Momma and Daddy even gave in and let me have a pacifier.  I don't get it often, but when I do I hold on tight!

One of my favorite activities is sleeping on Momma's chest.  There is no better sleep than this and I know just how to get her to pick me up for these naps.  A little groaning and grunting and she picks me up for some cuddle time.  Ahhh, this is the life!

I wasn't too sure about this bath stuff at first but it's really not too bad.  My favorite part so far is being wrapped snug as a bug in my hooded towels.
