Walking/Running

Just realized I never blogged about walking.  I started walking pretty constant during our May vacation.  When we got to the beach condo on May 19th I decided it was time to walk.  It's been just over two months now.  It took me a little bit to get my balance, but now I am up and running like a pro.  Momma and Daddy can barely keep up.  :-)

The Beach and 15 Month Check-up

We just got back from our second beach vacation this summer.  I sure have been having a good time.  I love, love, love the sand and sometimes the ocean is okay too.  This time we went to Gulf Shores, AL and the water just wasn't that inviting looking.  Daddy, Uncle T and Mr. Duke dove at Morrison Springs in FL.  The water looked so nice there I barely gave mom time to get sunscreen on me before shooting off down the beach.  I changed my mind when I felt how cold the spring water was.  Brrrr! This little boy does not like 60 degree water!!!

I've become very lovable and I'm not stingy with my kisses any more.  I constantly give those around me loving.  The bad side is it is hard to tell when I am going to give kisses and when I am going to bite.  Yes, I have hit the biting stage and bit Momma and Daddy several times while on vacation.  They are trying their hardest to get me out of this stage.  We'll see how well they do.

I had my 15 month check-up yesterday.  I had to get two booster shots and my first chicken pox vaccination.  It was not fun.  But Dr. Watson said everything looks great and I am right on track with development.  I did have fun at the appointment besides when the nurse came in to stick me.  The best fun was pushing the furniture and toys around the waiting room.  Then I saw Mickey Mouse hanging on the back wall and tried my hardest to run down there to see him better.  I sure love being a boy!  And even when the nurse stuck me those three times I only cried for a minute.  Momma was able to calm me down pretty quickly.

I'm still in the 50th percentile too.  I weigh 23 lbs. 15 oz. and am 31 1/4 inches tall.  Growing right on track!
